This site is a work in progress as we work to create change for a more vibrant and connected community.

In addition to being a public site, there will be an association members only section which will be accessible only to the association members (owners and residents of the homes in the two mobile mobile homes in the Hillcrest and Parklane mobile home parks).

What is the vision of the Association?

    1. To promote and protect the rights and interests of the members of the Association as owners and residents in manufactured homes;
    2. To take an active interest in the civic, social and moral welfare of the owners and resident of our community;
    3. To promote and strive for the right of the members of the Association as owners of and residents in manufactured homes to be represented and have a voice on all matters in all levels of government, including matters involving taxation, legislation and regulatory bylaws and policies;
    4. To meet with owners of manufactured homes in other areas of Alberta for the purpose of exchanging ideas that would benefit our members;
    5. To promote and encourage improvement in manufactured home development and technology;
    6. To represent manufactured home owners in meetings with owners, operators and developers of manufactured home parks and subdivisions, with officials of municipal, provincial and federal governments, and with other persons, corporations or groups in matters relating to manufactured home living;
    7. To conduct social events for members however the Association shall not own, operate and/or manage a social club.

Annual Association Membership fee is $20 per member.

Membership entitles you to:

  • Access to members only section of the website;
  • Right to vote on initiatives proposed by the Board to achieve its objectives;
  • Right to vote for the members of the Board of Directors;
  • Right to run for the Board of Directors.

How to sign up for membership

  1. complete the membership form and hit the subscribe button,
  2. Sign in to your banking site and send an e-transfer for $20 to the HMCA at HMCA-membership@HintonMobileCommunity.ca
  3. In the section where you may leave a message, please indicate that this is for Association membership.

Your membership fee will be deposited directly into the HMCA bank account and you will receive an acknowledgement.  We will send you a membership card to confirm.

Please note: We are not a charitable organization.  We are therefore unable to issue tax receipts for membership dues or donations.
